The Onboarding Billing Specialist is responsible for integrating new and existing client telecom expenses into the OS platform. This role involves collaborating with multiple carriers to ensure a seamless transition of each site's invoices within a customer's portfolio to the Ten4 OS..

The Onboarding Specialist then audits the new invoices for the next 3 billing cycles to ensure consistency and accuracy before transitioning the new invoices to the Billing Coordinator for recurring processing.

As one of the initial points of contact at Ten4, the Onboarding Billing Specialist has the opportunity to set a high standard for customer service, embodying and reflecting the Ten4 brand..

This is an entry-level, full-time, fully remote, or a hybrid role (twice per week in office) if located near our Baltimore, MD office.

**This entry-level role pays between $18.27 to $21.63 per hour, depending on experience. **

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Gather all relevant information to onboard new client’s telecom services in the OS
  • Onboarding new and existing customers to the Ten4 billing platform
  • Audit authorized user and billing info is current
  • Audit newly added invoices for 3 billing cycles to ensure accuracy
  • Review monthly invoices to identify any changes from previous invoices, following workflows to investigate and document findings
  • Research discrepancies on customer bills, including contacting carriers to open inquiries
  • Advocate on behalf of our customers to make appropriate adjustments or credits on invoices from carriers
  • Basic mathematical analysis and dissection of telecom charges and taxes  
  • Ensure bills are paid by the assigned deadline 
  • Execute and assist with special projects related to customer success
  • Attend meetings as required 
  • Respond to communication promptly 
  • Perform other duties as required by supervisor/company 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
  • High school diploma or GED 
  • 1+ year of telecom billing experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and written
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Word and Excel  
  • Problem solving and organizational skills
  • To work efficiently without direct supervision as well as with team members
